Beneficiary, Connected, and Manager Services Overview
Xtrm provides three levels of access that determine how your company can interact with, view, and manage other company and individual accounts within the platform.
Each access level provides different capabilities and visibility into connected accounts. The table below outlines the permissions and features available for each level of access.
| Level 1 - Standard | You can search for, view, and make payments to any registered company in XTRM. For convenience, you may also add companies to your contacts. When you make a payment to a company or individual, they are automatically added to your contact list. All users automatically have Level 1 access to any company within the platform. |
| Level 2 - Connected | If you are connected to a beneficiary company or individual account, you will have limited additional visibility and functionality for that account. This is referred to as Level 2 access (see below). Being connected also enables additional manager services, known as Level 3 access (see below). |
| Level 3 - Connected & Manager Services Enabled | If you are an integrated customer, partner, or agency, you may be authorized for Level 3 access, which includes manager services. This provides enhanced capabilities for managing your customers and partners. |
Important Information
1. Connections Are Not Required to Send Payments
Your company does not need to be connected to another company or individual account in order to send payments.
Payments can be sent directly to a recipient's:
- Xtrm Wallet
- Bank Account
- Prepaid Card
- Gift Card
- Check
2. Recipients Are Automatically Added to Your Contacts
Whenever your company sends a payment to a company or individual, that recipient is automatically added to your contact list for future transactions.
3. Connected Access Provides Additional Functionality
Being connected to another company or individual account (Level 2) provides limited additional visibility into that account and enables features such as Bank Direct payments through the API.
4. Connections Are One-Way
Connections between companies and individuals are not reciprocal.
For example, if your company connects to another company and receives Level 2 access to their account, this does not automatically grant them Level 2 access to your account.
5. Manager Services Provide Expanded Visibility and Controls
Level 3 Manager Services provide additional visibility and management capabilities beyond standard connected access.
Companies with Manager access can manage and oversee their connected companies and individuals using the additional administrative tools and services available through the platform.
This table shows the data access features by level.
