USER029 — Personal Accounts: How Do I Transfer Funds to a Virtual Visa or Mastercard?

Overview

Transferring your digital wallet balance to a Virtual Visa or Mastercard provides instant access to your funds for online, phone, and mobile app purchases. Virtual cards are issued globally and allow you to make secure transactions anywhere Visa or Mastercard digital payments are accepted.

Prerequisites Before Transferring

• Verified Account: Ensure your personal profile is completed to 100% to meet standard identity compliance requirements.

• Sufficient Balance: Confirm your wallet balance covers the total card value requested along with any applicable creation or processing fees.

• Geographic Eligibility: Verify that your country of residence is listed under approved countries for virtual card issuance (see Personal Accounts: Approved Countries for Prepaid Visa & Mastercard Issuance).

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Log In to Your Account:

Go to xtrm.com and sign in to your Personal Account.

2. Navigate to Transfer Options:

In the main navigation menu, click Transfer and select Prepaid Virtual Debit Card

3. Select Your Wallet & Card Type:

• Choose the Source Wallet (e.g., USD, EUR, CAD, GBP) you wish to transfer funds from.

• Enter Email Address and select Card Currency

4. Enter Transfer Amount:

Input the specific amount you wish to load onto the virtual card, then click Continue.

5. Review & Confirm:

Double-check the card value, currency, and fees, then click Agree to the Terms and Conditions and click on Purchase.

6. Access Your Virtual Card:

Upon completion, your virtual card details will be issued. You will receive an immediate on-screen access link as well as a redemption email sent to your registered email address.

Your Prepaid Visa Reward redemption code will arrive by email. You will have 4 months to redeem your Promo code for a Visa Virtual Account. Once accessed, you'll have 7 months to use your account wherever Visa Debit is accepted online or over the phone. Or, choose a Physical Prepaid Card to be mailed to you (USD 3.00 shipping and handling fee will apply). Please note that some merchants may choose not to accept out-of-country currency at their discretion. If this occurs, pay for your purchase by another payment method and use your Visa Virtual Account at a different merchant. Also, note that a 2% Non-U.S. A currency Transaction fee will be applied if the merchant settles in a currency other than USD. The card is issued by The Bancorp Bank, Member FDIC, under a license from Visa U.S.A. Inc.

Key Things to Know

• Instant Access: Virtual card claim links and codes are generated immediately upon transaction confirmation.

• Usage Restrictions: Virtual cards are designed strictly for online, over-the-phone, and mobile app purchases. They cannot be used at physical point-of-sale terminals or for cash withdrawals at ATMs.

• Expiration Dates: Virtual card claim tokens typically expire within 3 to 12 months if left unclaimed. Once claimed, the issued card numbers remain valid through the expiration date printed on the virtual card.

• Non-Refundable & Cancellation Policy: Once a virtual card is generated, the transaction generally cannot be cancelled or returned to your Xtrm wallet. If you require a card to be refunded, we can submit a request to cancel it on a best-efforts basis; however, a 25% fee will be deducted from the cancelled card value.
  
  

Redemption Flow

1. Delivery (Redemption Link & Digital Token):

Redemption Step 1

You will receive a Redemption Link and a Digital Token in an email to access your reward. The Redemption Link provides direct access to the reward, while the Digital Token acts as a backup if you lose access to the link or are logged out due to inactivity before completing redemption.

2. Card Selection (Virtual vs. Physical):

Choose whether to receive a Virtual product (available instantly) or a Physical product (delivered by mail). If you select a physical card, any applicable creation/mailing fees will be clearly identified before you finalize your selection.

3. Card Profile Information:

Upon clicking your chosen card option (Virtual or Physical), enter the required profile details—including your full legal name, address, and email—to complete card registration.

4. Order Summary & Card Access:

• Virtual Cards: Card details display immediately on screen for instant online use.

• Physical Cards: Order confirmation will display; your plastic card will be mailed to your specified address.

5. Optional Card Storage:

To secure your card for later use, you can deposit and save it within the digital wallet provided by Prepaid Solutions.
