BENE001 — Beneficiary Companies FAQ

Modified on Thu, 6 Aug at 9:40 AM

A Beneficiary Company account is designed for organizations, partners, or vendors that receive payments from other businesses (remitters) via Xtrm. Beneficiary accounts allow companies to collect payouts, hold multi-currency digital wallets, distribute funds to employees or contractors, or transfer money directly to company bank accounts.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is a Beneficiary Company account?

A Beneficiary Company account is a corporate account set up on Xtrm to receive payouts from partner organizations, vendors, or remitter platforms. Once received, funds can be managed across multiple wallets, exchanged into local currencies, or disbursed to staff or linked bank accounts.

2. Who should register for a Beneficiary Company account?

Any business entity—such as a reseller, partner, agency, vendor, or contractor organization—that expects to receive payouts, incentives, rebates, or commissions from a remitter using the Xtrm platform.

3. What is the difference between an Individual account and a Company account?

  • Individual Account: Created for single person usage (e.g., direct contractors, athletes, program participants) to receive personal payouts.

  • Company Account: Built for registered business entities. Allows multiple team members (roles/permissions), multi-currency corporate wallets, B2B transfers, and secondary distribution to employees or subcontractors.

4. How do I access my company's account if it already exists?

Xtrm operates on a single global organization model per company. If your organization already has an account:

  1. Contact your company's Master Admin or an existing administrator to request user access.

  2. If you do not know who the Master Admin is, contact Xtrm Support (support@xtrm.com) for assistance verifying and granting user access.

5. How do I withdraw or transfer funds out of my account?

Beneficiary companies can transfer funds using several methods:

  • Standard Bank Transfer (ACH / EFT / SEPA): Free local bank transfer (3–5 business days).

  • Wire Transfer: Direct international or domestic bank wire (1–2 business days).

  • Instant / Rapid Debit Card Transfer: Instant payout to a linked business debit card.

  • Wallet-to-Wallet / B2B Direct: Transfer funds to another Xtrm wallet or company.

6. Can a Beneficiary Company also send payments?

Yes. While the primary function of a beneficiary account is receiving payouts, company accounts can also be funded to make outgoing payments to employees, sub-tier contractors, or secondary partner entities.
