FUND004 - Fund wallets using bank debits manual method (Micro-deposit)

Modified on Wed, 30 Jul at 4:01 PM

Supported Currencies: USD, CAD, GBP, and EUR

A Bank Debit allows XTRM to pull funds directly from your company’s bank account, making it easier and more cost-effective to fund your wallets—without needing to initiate a separate ACH credit or wire from your bank.

This method saves you time and eliminates the transaction fees often associated with outbound transfers initiated from your bank or online portal.

What Is Bank Debit?

Bank Debit is when XTRM contacts your financial institution and requests to pull funds on your behalf. This differs from ACH credit or wire transfers, where you must initiate the transfer from your bank.

Manual Bank Linking Instructions (if Plaid is unavailable)

If your bank cannot be connected via Plaid, you can use the manual linking method. This involves microdeposit verification.

Steps to Link Your Bank Manually:

1. Log in to your XTRM company account.

2. Go to Banks and select Link Bank Account.

3. Under Fund From Bank, click Try Manual Method

4. Enter your company’s bank account details and click Submit Request.

5. Within 1–3 business days, you’ll receive two small microdeposits in your bank account.

6. Return to the same screen in XTRM and click Verify.

7. Enter the two deposit amounts to complete the verification process. Once verified, your bank account will be linked and approved for Bank Debit funding.

Important Notes

  • Microdeposits may take up to 3 business days to appear.
  • Until the bank is verified, you will not be able to use it for funding.
  • After verification, you can fund your wallet using Bank Debit, and a pending transaction will appear.
  • Funds typically arrive in 4–5 business days, at which point the transaction will be marked Completed, and your wallet will be credited.
  • You will receive an email notification once the funds are posted.
